April 24 Articulation Conference

The Alberta Council on Admissions and Transfer (ACAT) is pleased to extend you an invitation to participate in a one-day Annual Articulation Conference. This first annual conference is an extension of the Annual Articulation Chairs meeting, now including committee and student group representatives.

Date:
Monday, April 24, 2017, 8.30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Place:
Federal Building, Edmonton

Purpose:
To bring together members from all articulation committees to engage in topics related to learning outcomes and how they can make transfer more transparent and trusted, articulation committee activities and best practices, and other provinces’ articulation structures and initiatives (e.g., flexible pre-majors). Speakers from Mount Royal University, BCCAT and ONCAT, among others, will be on hand to guide participants through hands-on exercises designed to increase the value of your participation in ACAT.

We have seats for approximately 100 participants. In order to ensure that we can get representation from all articulation committees, we are seeking RSVPs from each articulation committee Chair (or designate) and up to three additional representatives per committee on a first-come-first-served basis. Additional information related to the event, including an Agenda, will be shared in the coming weeks.

If you are able to participate in the conference, please RSVP to acat@gov.ab.ca by March 20th, 2017.
